This is hands-down the best bagel I've ever had! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Update Jan 2024! So I've rediscovered Harrison Bagels as we stopped coming during the lockdown and since they didn't take CC... we went with places that delivered and took a card. I ran into the owner a week or so ago and she greeted me with a warm hug. Remembered my name to boot! After 3 + years I still felt the love. She let me know they now take CC and wanted to buy me a coffee.... Naturally I bought bagels and that sushi precision cut salmon. Gotta say this place is still great! Friendly attentive staff and the throngs of customers come and go with a smile. The bagels are still hands down the best in the area and are completely formed, not doughy C like a very popular shop in Rye Ridge. Can't say a bad thing about this place, I'm happy to be back and you have to try it. If only the owner was single..... lol. One could hope
It was my first time in here. Everyone is extremely nice! I got an everything bagel with cream cheese and a corn muffin. Bagel was outstanding, toasted perfectly with a good amount of cream cheese. I really enjoyed it. Corn muffin was moist and also delicious. This is a great hangout place for a Sunday morning to read the paper and sit in the window people watching. loved it! I will be back.
Food was solid, and I'd reorder, though there are better bagel places in Westchester. Had an egg and cheese sandwich, turkey sandwich, and bagel with cream cheese. All items tasted good, but the contents of the sandwiches were kinda skimpy (i.e. there were small portion of eggs and turkey).
